We all walk or drive over them: bridges! In the craziest shapes and all different. Which team of students can build the strongest structure that passes the test? After a brief introduction, the students work on their own. They deliberate how to complete the mandatory span of the bridge and, of course, how to make it as sturdy as possible.
During construction, the students can experiment with technical properties of different materials, joints and bearing capacity. The final signal! All constructions are tested for length and carrying capacity. Which design wins? Finally, the group votes on the most beautifully designed bridge.
