Discovery Museum has a discount agreement with various partners.
As a visitor of Discovery Museum, you are entitled to a discount on the admission price at our partners’ venues. While visiting Discovery Museum, you can collect a discount voucher at the reception: you will receive 1 voucher per valid entrance. The voucher is valid until 31 December 2026.
On presentation of this voucher, you will receive a one-off discount for one person at our partners. Details of the discount scheme can be found below.
As a subscriber to one of our partners, you will receive a discount when visiting Discovery Museum. With your subscription card or donor card, you will receive a 25% discount on a standard admission ticket.

GaiaZOO, experience how special it is!
At the southernmost tip of the Netherlands, you will find one of the most beautiful zoos in Europe: GaiaZOO. The vast landscape, in a beautiful wooded area in South Limburg, will amaze you.

The footpath first takes you to the far north of the Taiga. Here live animals that love the winter cold, such as the impressive vultures, playful wolverines and woolly red pandas.
Travel further to the Savanna, where rhinos, giraffes, meerkats and African lions rule the roost. The Flamingo | Aviary, adjacent to the atmospheric SavannaLodge, is definitely worth a visit.

In spring, summer and autumn, you can experience nature with all your senses
during a 4-kilometre BloteVoetenWandeling, a barefoot walk. Discover nature in a special way at the largest BloteVoetenPark in the Benelux. Adventure for young and old! Feel the grass, sand, mud and water under your feet. During the walk, Mother Earth will not only stimulate your feet, but all your senses will be “awakened”. Every step brings you closer to yourself. It is a perfect way to let go of stress and be completely in the moment.
DEFINITELY FUN IN THE RAIN…
Maze, mud pool, water trap, play circle and much more. There is plenty to experience for young and old during a BloteVoetenWandeling. Rainy weather? Don’t let that stop you. Rain puddles feel wonderful on your feet and the earth becomes nice and soft. The foliage protects against the worst of the rain and also provides welcome cooling on hot days.

BloteVoetenPark Brunssum is also an adventurous outing in autumn, with exciting Halloween tours and Ewoud’s Little Adventure Trail, an adventurous discovery tour for small children. On presentation of the discount voucher, you will receive a 25% discount on a regular admission ticket at Ballorig in Venlo, Roermond, Sittard, Kerkrade and Veldhoven.
Ballorig is the ultimate indoor play paradise for children up to 13 years old. On presentation of the discount voucher, you will receive a 25% discount on the purchase of a standard admission ticket at the ticket office. The discount is valid for up to 4 people per booking.
The admission price for children aged 4 and over will then be €10.45 per person (standard price €13.95)
Parents and carers aged 18 and over enjoy free admission until 14 May 2026. From 15 May, the price for everyone aged 4 and over will be €13.95. Children under 2 years old go in for FREE.
Toddler rate for children aged 2 and 3: €5.95
With no less than 33 hectares of fun, Steinerbos Adventure Park has been the place for you and your family to enjoy yourselves together for 80 years. From a large, adventurous playground to a complete play park where children can explore to their heart’s content: here, it’s all about being outdoors and playing together. Climb and scramble in the play forest or the indoor playground, race around the go-kart track, follow the barefoot path and balance on tree trunks in the nature playground. Jump metres high on the giant bouncy castle, take a refreshing dip in the outdoor pool or dare to slide down the giant slide. The petting zoo also invites you to meet the animals up close.

The Miljoenenlijn is a beautiful heritage railway line running right through the South Limburg Hills.
Step aboard the steam train at Simpelveld station – over 100 years old – let yourself be carried away by the enchanting landscape and take a nostalgic journey back in time.
The large station yard at Simpelveld is well worth exploring: a bustling place where long mine trains once departed, laden with coal – the black gold – bound for all corners of the country. Travellers set off from here on an adventurous train journey to various distant European destinations.
Be sure to visit the workshop and the train depot in Simpelveld, where all the rolling stock is maintained by over 270 enthusiastic volunteers. Afterwards, enjoy a delicious cup of coffee with Limburg flan or some homemade soup in the cosy station restaurant ‘Brasserie Perron 4’.
Would you prefer to go for a leisurely walk or a lovely bike ride in the Heuvelland? Take the steam train and discover some unique starting points for your route. Or walk back to the station where you boarded.
Extra tip! In July and August, the Summer Evening Express runs along the Miljoenenlijn! This evening steam train ride promises what might just be the most magical sunset you’ve ever seen.

Show your discount voucher to get 25% off your ticket for a space trip at Cosmodrome.
Cosmodrome is the planetarium in Kattevennen, Genk, where you can explore the universe in an accessible way.
Beneath the 360° dome, you’ll be completely surrounded by images and stories about stars, planets and space travel.
After the show, an Astroranger will guide you through the night sky and teach you what you can actually see above your head.
You can also visit the exhibition and take a look around the observatory through a telescope. Cosmodrome is a place for families, curious visitors and anyone who enjoys learning and experiencing new things.
