  • Do you already work with Educational Robotics (ER) more often during STEM lessons in the classroom but don’t have the right or sufficient ER sets for this in the classroom and/or the possibility of visiting an extracurricular learning environment? Then consider the option of combining your ER lesson with Augmented Reality (AR). With ER and AR together, it is possible to create a rich and varied offer for students, even when you do not have enough physical materials available.

Then sign up for the free inspiration and design workshop for teachers (upper primary and lower secondary schools), offered by the Open University and Discovery Museum within the eROBSON Erasmus+ project. During the workshop, the possibilities of ER and AR will be presented, demonstrated, and tried out using the physical ER programming environment ‘LittleBits’ and AR tools developed within the eROBSON project. Based on the design thinking methodology, you can immediately start designing a possible application of ER and AR for your own STEM lessons.

    The workshop will take place on 31 May 2023, from 15.00 to 18.30 at Discovery Museum in Kerkrade. Participation, after registration, is free of charge. The necessary materials will be provided. Participating teachers are requested to install two apps in advance, information on this will be provided after registration.

    • Hands-on experience with both AR applications with series of tasks, first focusing on AR alone, then in combination with ER.
